If it’s new and now, it’s at Gables New York. As an established design firm, we’re known for providing only high-end products for the most discerning consumers. We’re ecstatic to announce that we now carry the new fabric line, Elements by Diane Keaton, from Diane Keaton and Fabricut’s S. Harris.
Introducing Elements by Diane Keaton
Creative director for Fabricut’s S. Harris, Jodi Finer, describes the collection as being “all about restraint and simplicity.” Who knew that simplicity could be so breathtaking? Keaton is no stranger to interior design, and her new fabric collaboration with Fabricut’s S. Harris is a stunning example of the star’s talent, passion, and exquisite taste.
Explore the Elements of Style
Elements by Diane Keaton features an array of luxe fabrics, including linen, wool, and boucle. The soft touch of Italian wool brings the classic design of fabric Interiors Plaid to life, while the quirky geometric pattern of Shoot the Moon adds a bit of elegant whimsy.
Varying rubbing results using the Wyzenbeek method display a range of durability. From the Mrs. Los Angeles wool blend with 25,000+ rubs to the Annie Wool mohair and cotton blend with an eye-popping 100,000+ rubs, it’s clear that the classics in this collection are meant to stay around awhile. In case you’re unfamiliar with the Wyzenbeek method, cotton duck fabric is used to rub back and forth on the test fabric and count until there is noticeable wear or two yarns break.
The majority of fabrics in this new line are great for bedding, upholstery, drapery, and multipurpose use. Standard widths of non-railroaded material and wide widths of railroaded fabric are available. The La-Di-Da Sheer options are only available in the broader width. Other railroaded selections in wide include American Style, made of Turkish linen, and Sleeper Sheer. Structured solids, chunky weaves, and exciting patterns mean there is an element from this collection for everyone. The materials in Keaton’s new fabric line will make a great statement without taking over the rest of the room. Photos do not do this line justice, and our expert designers would love to take you through the collection firsthand.
